i was changing my plugs today and 4 of the 6 clips (female ends) that clip to the coil packs crumbled to a varying degree... 20k ago, when i last changed the plugs, only two little clips had broke... now, at 90k the clips and the light gray retaining clips for the harness are all falling apart... also i noticed i could actually see a little bare wire right at the clip/wire connection of the harness... car runs fine with the wires just pushed in place but id like to make it right

now a couple questions...

1) how much is the whole harness and roughly how much labor is involved in changing it?..

2) can i buy just the plug with a few inches of wire and have a shop graft them into my existing harness?..

thanks in advance

Brian, you mostly just need the connectors, the ones that are 4.08 a piece. Every supra i've worked on has had those things crumple on me.

The gray "clamp" with the number "7" on it, is not sold seperately from the harness. This holds the group of wires to the coil pack brackets.
