Hey guys im just wondering if it would be ok to leave the white and green connectors on the thermo housing unplugged. When i got the jdm motor the grey connector was unplugged, but the green one was pluged in. On my 87T harnest the green connector doesnt fit. Could i cut and splice the jdm connector on the 87T harnest?

Should work, just put some electrical tape on it. There should be current running through one of the wires. If you get a coolant sensor code you might have the polarity incorrect.
