Thinking about it. What say you guys? Would it even be workable? Not with the "anything's possible with enough money" philosophy...like putting a 1j in a MKIII...

Why would you even bother! I have a 1jz in a mk2 Supra and this is a great conversion!!!! All you need is a jzx90/100 front cut and engine mounts and with a bit of fabrication work it will fall straight in. Well mine did anyway. This is a gun conversion and I'm sure someone over there has done it by now. I know two guys who have 2jz's in mk2 supras. The 1g is an old design with not much aftermarket support. That's my 2c anyway.

I'll have to agree. You can get the same performance from a 6M-GE without the headache. The 1g-gte looks cool, I'll have to admit.
