Buying the BL67 P-trim .68 A/R with anti-surge cover... also going to be using 264in and 264ex cams... would this turbo/cam setup require a raised rev-limit? I can seem to rev a little over 7000 rpm with my stock ECU?

Thanks:)

Your stock tach is probably off a little and that's why it looks higher than it is. Requiring and wanting a raised rev limiter are two different things. On my car ant this turbo, I shift at 7600rpms or so because I'm still making great power. I don't know if that limit would rise once I add the VW intake manifold. I would guess you'll want at least low 7K rpms to maximize your powerband for this turbo.

So would it be advisable not to use the 264 cams? Since they would push the power band higher in the RPM range?

Randy, a raised rev-limit always helps by increasing the size of the powerband. It is upto you and your driving style to determine if it is necassary.

Personally I think a 7500-8000rpm limit would work well providing it is catered for (cams help this not hinder it).
