Would TT rear brakes work with NA fronts?

Im looking to do the swap very soon with another member who needs the smaller brakes for a drag setup. Would it be a necessity to swap the fronts if i swap the rears? Im worried my front brakes will wear down extremely fast because in theory they would have require more pressure from the master cylinder do get the job done. Anyone have experience with this?

Someone has to know this!
Just swap the rears. I don't think there's any ways to prove or disprove this. More pistons = hell yeas.

I was thinking the same... worst that can happen is it doesnt work and ill take them back off.
they will be fine !

swap em what can they possibly hurt?
The Lexus GS comes with 2 piston fronts and 2 piston rears.
wouldn't this have a negative impact on the stock car's brake bias?

Yup...sure could. The real benefit in TT brakes is found in the front though. I still run NA brakes in the rear...but the TT fronts changed my car in a big way

This is my main concern... would it be dangerous? I will be swapping the fronts too eventually.
ic see a couple of things that can come from this....but this is just my opiniong :)

first of, if you have TT rears, you cant go back an use ure NA rim to put drag tires on them, but i gues thats not too big of a concern

and about brake bias.......having bigger brakes in the back....i would think that it would be easier for you to lock them up a lot sooner then you would the fronts, causing you car to slide out (like say you have to brake hard in a sharp turn) but i gues all of us have abs? and as far as i know, abs works on all 4 corners...... so theoretically there wouldnt be anything really wrong with runing this set up...
Roman dragging is of no concern since my ONLY power mod is my GReddy SP, and as far as the ABS i do believe you are correct.

bobmarley, ty for your input, having a trustworthy name like yours verify that its ok is a big help! :bigthumb:
