After the conversion from auto to 6 spd, the car is running just fine although i'm still using the auto ECU. I have the 6spd ECU with me, but am quite reluctant to redo the wiring. Do you guys think i should run the 6spd ECU instead?

I've read somewhere that 6-speed ECU will NOT shift the auto tranny, but auto ECU will run a 6-speed car w/out problems. Not really sure tho, do a search or call Jarrett @ Powerhouseracing.com , he has to know for sure.

The only problem I've heard with auto ECU's on manual setups is the timing retarding when the auto ECU should shift up / down. So you can loose some power on various RPM rates where the ECU does it's shift (and does not cause you are shifting at different RPM's I guess).
I don't know for sure if this is true, but it doesn't sound like rubbish to me.
