Philip long 2 step,ETTC mod in TTC,pulled hose = 20.4 psi in first alone.It felt good but I smoked my clutch.New one on the way.I just thought you guys would want to know.

What tires were you using when making that boost in 1st gear. I guess you must have been hooking up really well.

Bald drag radials.Actually, I was smoking the hell out of them.You wont be able to use the 2-step on the street.It just lights em up,but at the track with good tires its nasty.

Actually you can use the 2-step on the street...I use it to be more consistent in my launches...you just have to find the right rpm for your set up, that goes for the street and the track. I build 4psi @ 4800rpm and that works pretty well for me on the street, but the key is that I can do it every single time and be consistent about it.
At the track I built [email protected] and was consistently putting down 1.64-1.66 60' times but the tires were still spinning...I have since gotten new ones though because I found that those were showing strings.

Wow,those are good 60 footers.I hope once the new clutch is in Ill be close.I have my 2-step set up at 6300 and boost bounces from 6-8psi on my gauge.Ill have to try to lower it a bit for the street and practice.
