Here we go,
We picked this Supra up about a month ago. It is a 1994 TT Auto black on black with 68,000 miles. I knew it was going to need some work but I did not know what I was in for. The seller had told me that it had a rough idle and there was a small amount of smoke after it ran for a while. After looking into the problem I found the rings on the #1 cylinder were shot (38% leakage!!!).
I have a new PROJECT!!! Im not going to lie I miss working on cars for a living from time to time. So here I am one year after rebuilding my engine about to under go another full rebuild.
Here is the SPEC LIST
-freshen up the bottom end with all new OEM parts (pistons, rods, etc...)
-Treadstone cast manifold
-Sound Performance Quick spool valve of course
-PTE Billet 6265 journal bearing
-Stock ECU until we upgrade to ProEFI
-Stock fueling for now
We aren't looking to make crazy power with her car, just want a super fast spooling incredibly responsive true street car with about 500-550hp to the tire.
On to the pictures!!!!
This is when we first got it home (from San Diego)
Time to pull the engine. Picked up this hoist from Harbor Freight cheap
I bolted these old towels down to the car because I cant stand it when fender covers fall off
Everyone does this stupid picture
My world famous Transmission stand is back in action HAHA
I just like this picture
