I always replaced the crush washers, just as a matter of course, when reinstalling any bolts that use them, be it brakes, or fuel/oil lines. Such cheap insurance

Regarding the torque settings, I cannot help you there, unfortunately, but I wouldn't go over tightening it, incase you cause damage to the threads.

 

the crush washers are brand new. what about torqueing it so that the bolt ports face the right direction ?
that was my main concern

 

With banjo bolts there isn't a 'right way', there is flow 360* around the fitting. Wherever it ends up is fine, just make sure its torqued tight enough to not leak.

 

FSM says 29 foot-pounds...and use new crush washers.

 

Now the question is what is the pt# for the crush washers? Called a few Toyota places, and they both sent aluminum , not copper.
I even did a search and the online catalog doesn't show the washer, only the oil feed line and surrounding area.
I will go to the local shop and see what I can find.
