What compressor oil is equivalent to the ND-OIL 8? What does the a\c compressor use for r-134a is it the pag? or ester? what weight? I had to custom fit a condenser and make new lines to fit this swap in my car and wanted to know what oil to use for 134a and the toyota supra compressor.

Thanks

PAG 46... call it a day.

look at TSRM for spec on amount of oil and weight or R-134a.

If you are looking at oil, that means system open to elements, replace dryer canister. Evacuate system. Use a good quality R-134a guages. While you are at it and before refilling, change the R-134a valves in the ports.

If using cans, add 2 oz additional per can for hose overage. (ie if system calls for 24 oz, that is two cans but with the gauge needing about 2 oz itself to fill up with r-134a, you are looking at 28 oz total or THREE cans not two).

On the oil front, Add 50% of the total to the compressor, 20% to the evaporator, 20% to the condensor and 10% to the dryer. This is using the TOTAL system oil!

Do not use selanants, stop leaks etc!!
