Anybody have an Air Ride Equipped Mk3? Or any air ride vehicle? Seems like a cool idea to do something else custom.

i know Acroth had the cylinders, and they would transfer the air from side to side. bag how ever do not do this. just an FYI for people. now clue if whiplash has used them or not :/
if his did this then it was setup incorrectly, my friends truck has emm and the truck is stiff as hell on turns... its all abou tthe way you set up the valves

I have them on my 96 Mustang GT. Thing rides like Caddy. Its fun to cruise with just a little bit of wheel well showing. Then lifting it up so you don't bottom out on anything (which has saved me ass a time or two) then once you get in the parking lot you just hit the switch and the K member sits on the ground. Air ride is fun depending on the way you do it. You can go with 3/8" or 1/4" hose and fittings for a slow up/down or do what I did and use 1/2" for that 1/2 second drop and raise. I built my kit. Its all custom piping in the trunk with 1/2" valves and hose. With 2 7gal tanks to hold the air and 2 215 Valair compressors to pump them up. Took me a lil over a week to install. But I only worked on it from 5PM on while still getting up for work at 6AM. If you want I can give you the name of the guy I bought the valves and hose off of. He gave me some great prices. The switch box, compressors, and pressure switches came from offbeatcustoms.com or something like that. The tanks I found locally and the piping was all free. The bags and brackets did come from airride technologies out of Indiana. I think total I spent $1300 or so for all the stuff. The 1/2" fittings were fun to find locally but I managed to. But I wouldn't put them on a Supra. I thought it was fun at the time to put them on the Mustang but now I am changing the stang over to a full racing coilover suspension. But they have proven you can still drag with bags and do decent but I wouldn't want to. Allows for too much wheel hop.

He had them piped up the wrong way. Each bag or cylinder should have its own air supply to prevent that from happening.
