Im racing this weekend and didnt even think about speedcut. Is there anyway to bypass it without running an SLD? Id like to save the $100 for this weekend if possible.
Does it really matter? I will be going over 120 I am sure. Thats the point.koulee said:What kind of racing? drag? oval? road course?
If you really need a quick quick fix just unhook your speedo cable from under the car and you wont have speed cut anymore.... you wont have a speedo reading either, but who cares about that.PM-Performance said:Does it really matter? I will be going over 120 I am sure. Thats the point.
But I will be drag racing.
Zazzn, any instructions on this zener diode hook up. So you can do that for boost cut and speed cut then? I saw this option for boost cut before, but I can hit 2 bar fine, so I should be good there
If you are dragging, the only thing you should be looking at is the roadway and the tach.PM-Performance said:ahhh I wasn't sure if unhooking the speedo would do it or not, but though it might.
Thats cheap and easy. lol. Ill try that I guess.
He has a 1jzgte, jap cars have a speed governor.Nocheez said:Speed cut? I wasn't aware our cars had a limiter.
Most definately not. At least not here in the good 'ol U S of A. I've been at 140+ on a number of occasions, and unless the speed cut is over 150, which would be stupid, then there isn't one.PM-Performance said:i thought 7M's had speed cuts too?
