I just got a BL 4" CBE from Steve @ Boostlogic. They're having a sale for $795 shipped. They also have the mid pipe. There's a bunch of threads on exhausts.

There isn't a "best" system out there. It is up to personal preference and what your expectations are. Do you want a loud, droning exhaust system? Quiet? What are you looking for?

Like mentioned above, there is no "best" combo. Also DP/MP depend on your turbo set up. Stock twin, aftermarket twin, angled single, straight single, etc. Each DP/MP is made to be used with their manifold, unless you're on stock twins. Most of them will bolt up to any aftermarket cat-back. I have custom 4" DP/MP with a PTE6766 on HKS T4 with HKS TI.

I started with a BL exhaust system with the version 2 muffler I believe. Car was crazy loud for me and the hours I drive it. Ended up swapping that out after about 6 months for a HKS Titanium, and will never look back. For me there is absolutely no comparison between the 2.

I'm interested in this as well. I have an RPS manifold and am wondering if I should switch out my Greddy PE with and HKS Ti. What contributes to sound more; the manifold or the exhaust?

We're on the same boat. How loud is your car while cruising? I have the same manifold and exhaust and it sounds SO tamed, WOT however it's decently loud but not quite enough. I removed both resonators from the PE too.

If you have any videos, that'd be great!

The exhaust is the biggest factor by far. I've had pretty much all of them. The BL unit is by far the loudest due to the muffler design. The HKS Ti is large, but the muffler works much better than the BL unit. On my current car I ran the stock exhaust system with an SP 4 inch Dp/Mp and the SP boost actuated cut out (3 inch). The car is quite 99% of the time and only gets loud when I get into boost. For personal preference I think it is the best system, but others wouldn't agree.

Steve you definitely had your fair share of systems. Good current system you have to be neighbor friendly and under the radar.

98% of MK4 Ex's are angled (HKS Dragger, Tanabe touring, Greddy SP/PE, Thermal off my head aren't). "No best system" as stated, just a preference. 3" systems has sufficed many a 700WHP+ setup like say a Blitz Nur spec setup. Exhaust internal design, piping material, piping diameter, airflow exit and even the Ex tip all play a primary role in exhaust sound. Move to the engine now and cams/airflow will then play another factor.

I personally have A HKS Ti, HKS Carbon Ti and a Greddy PE N1 4" setup between my 2 rides. A beautiful exhaust that shouldn't be overlooked is the Apexi GT Spec as well.

Okay, lets break this down.

1. You live in NYC (loud attracts cops). BL and HKS Ti is out. Putting the silencer in the HKS Ti is like....ah never mind....

2. You state 600HP, then you state 6766, which makes no sense. If you want to limit to 600HP, then get a Garrett GTX 40 Series. The 6766 on good gas is going to make 200rwhp more and on E85 even more. The decision on power defines which exhaust. If 800HP, then 4" plus.

3. If you don't want to drone out your neighbors and are truly satisfied and going to run 600HP, get the HKS Carbon Ti. Affordable, will support the power no issue, has the angled look you like, HKS quality and a cool carbon wrapped muffler. It's also affordable and not too loud.

i didnt purchase a turbo as yet and it does make more sense for me to go with a 6266 vs the 6766..for my goals of 600hp

i dont like the carbon look for the hks..and the Ti is double the price smh...the apex gt doesnt look bad at all .

Maybe im in the dark but i havent seen any recently released pipes for the jaz80.

But besides looking for newest ones i'd have to say Blitz.. Mainly because thats what i have.. i love it.

But yeah HKS and Amuse is great.

One exhaust i have always been fond of but simply can't find anywhere is the AB-Flug exhaust...

I dont remember the user that owns this exhaust system and i apologize if he sees this for not naming him.

But yeah this exhaust system is so amazing to me i would literally pull off my blitz right now just to own this .. I've searched all around and it seems like awhile ago this was a popular exhaust only in germany... But i can't find any website ever after hours of searching that sells a system like this. Not even a used one.

Currently I have the WOTM 4" with Burns muffler. Ryan Woon has some Youtube vids if you wanna listen. That muffler is pretty much a wide-open can if you look inside, VERY loud imo. My favorite Supra exhaust of all time was my BPU oldschool Apexi N1. It sounded amazing, grumbled, moderately loud. Absolutely NOT ricey or Honda sounding crap. Wish I could make my current system sound like that N1 did!

What's special about it?
