Hey guys, wondering what people who are making 500+ HP, are using to get the car to hook at the strip?

Aside from bushings, motor mounts, transmission mounts, bracing, subframe , slicks / rims and all the other "to do's"
with making the car not wheel hop, what do you guys use? The most i can find with anyone doing low 11's, 10s, or 9's are on the Stock suspension(which if i have to I will use) but are there any other suspension setups(aftermarket) that work well?

the ones i am aware of

D2 Racing Drag Coilovers for 1986.5-1992 Toyota MK3 Supra D-TO-54-DR - Anyone running these and have any reviews?

.fortune-auto - Anyone running these and have any reviews?

Thanks.

Waiting on my fortune coil overs right now, should be in next week. It’s been 6 weeks. I’m making 490 wheel (last dyno setup on old turbo)

And I run bf comp 2 tires and my suspension is so soft I never spin lol. I also only roll race so that could be it too lol

Is it a stick car or an auto?

on only 500whp, some basic bushing upgrades and a proper tire on a 15" wheel and you shouldn't have too many problems.

Afco makes a set of double adjustable coilovers that are really nice.
Import drag solutions also makes a bolt in kit with different spring rate options.
Then theres the domestic style shock conversion by Grannas and buck performance.

from my experience the biggest improvement to my 60ft was going to a bias ply tire. its ridiculous how much better they launch especially with a manual trans compared to radials. the hoosier qtp's are what i run 26x11.5x15. they're very stable on the big end, don't loose air, don't need tubes, and even been caught in a drizzle on the way home from the track which i had no problem making it home. i have a set of drag radials but only use them for high boost tuning/roll racing. going to replace my coilovers when i get around to it but currently have megan track coilovers, st sways, adjustable endlinks, and solid subframe bushing. control arm and bars are stock. really you could through a set of slicks on a bone stock mk3 with some hp and it will 60ft decent lol
