The M600 can also control DBW TB's.

@Suprafied - It is a hypertune, which is why you'll notice in the video they made a custom plate to attach the LS TB to the hypertune, I simply was not willing to cut the flange on the hypertune.

@Stretshotz - I candidly don't know, I would imagine that it would as long as the ECU has DBW support, what I would do honestly is email or message D3 via facebook and ask them - Chris Delgado there has worked with nearly every ECU on the planet so he would be far more qualified to answer than I am.

Thanks for sharing Zach. :)

Craig, I'm assumign that like me you won't want to cut your hypertune up ;) - Have reid or larry reach out to the D3 guys, they are attempting to put together a full kit with TB/Pedal assembly, adapter plate for the hypertune, wiring harnesses, etc - I slowly acquired the pieces about a year ago, so i've already done most the footwork for you ;)

With the ProEFI features having DBW makes available, it's a 'no-brainer' for making a good thing better! As much as I prefer a good old fashioned throttle cable myself, I love seeing new technologies so seamlessly integrated into the Supra, and making the Supra just that much better!

Well done, Z!

Ok this is sick... In for more results and future adaptability to other ECUs.

Just so we're clear using either of those TB's was not an option for me as I had already gone 90mm, the pedal assembly might be, although I would be shocked if it's better than the LS7 pedal I am using... I would imagine the pin out would be similar though.

I was aiming toward that when I asked about using the 99+ VVTI GTE DBW Supra pedal.

^^I am talking 2jz , 98 SC300/GS300 all have DBW, I have both GS300 and SC with DBW.

That is why I said 98+ NA which can be refer to all VVTI 2JZGE equipped cars (Supra, SC, IS & GS) and 99 for Supra Turbo as 98 Supra turbo are still DBC. And since this topic is about DBW on Supra, my answers were in regard to Supras. You said all 98+ have DBW, assuming people don't know, they will get confuse and think 98 Supra turbos are also DBW. That is why I said 99+ for Supra Turbo.

I can't find a part # - but let's be fair here, using the LS7 pedal/TB is very likely cheaper and a LOT easier to get ahold of, plus you can get the flying lead harness at any chevy dealer, the pedal is nearly identical in dimensions - now it may be true that it might not have required a mounting plate to be CNC'd... that would have saved me a few bucks but not much ;)

You 100000% correct about this^^^. Way cheaper to go with the LS7 tb, the toyota vvti gte tb is rare and very expensive if you do find one.
And since the vvti gte was never on the US market , ordering the Tb is next to imposible.

I have to replace the na vvti on my GS300 and that was $1600 from Lexus.
The na tb is ugly and bulky so it's not even an option.

My guess is that the pedal assembly from the 98 NA would bolt right into any other supra. This is pretty cool as it would give those of you with aftermarket TBs the ability to have cruise control again as well as some other features. Props to Mr Delgado.

I had the DBW working great on the 350zs with ProEFI in warm weather.... I was having issues once the temperature fell. Hopefully Chris is testing it in a large variety of temperature conditions as the current required for opening the small amounts for idle control changes quite a bit with temperature.

Nice work!! I was in the process of doing this myself but got busy with work. Glad to see someone else have the same interest. Let me know if you can get cruisecontrol working!!!

I can confirm myself and several friends have bolted this straight in with no issues. You will need to bend the pedal slightly with your hand after it is bolted in to the placement you desire. It was actually much easier than I had anticipated.
