I'm done with my N/A. Everything works 100% except the power antenna. The paint is less that perfect, and same with the leather seats but who cares. At 147k it's the most reliable car I've ever owned, which I take pride in considering when i got it, it was a complete piece of shit. Time to sell

Ever since I got my WB, and started logging everything... I tuned accordingly...lol... then... since the car was making so much power... I started breaking things.

It's fun though... cause the car runs GREAT at times... then POOF! runs like ass.

 

It took me all summer to get the "new" supra running right..from switching virtually every part over from the dead supra to this one...from phantom wiring problems and a screwey factory alarm..from fuel deliverey problems..this new one is finally running at a 100% and did most of the work myself (had help from alanflies and 88toysupra)...heh from time to time i press buttons 2/4 on the super monitor just to watch that "check engine" light constantly flashing for shits n giggles

As fars as goals being achieved...the main one was to get this current car running properly..whats next? paint job and from there on...who knows

 

for the last 3 months, every single thing in my car worked. the last couple days, i have THE starter problem oh well, getting ready to put her away for winter anyways.

 

I owned my '87 Black Turbo for over 3 years and for most part it was 100%.

 

the car is like 50 percent but the motor is 95 percent

 

pearlywhite 88T you said you had a screwey factory alarm? I have an 88T and if I unlock the car from the driverside door every now and then the alarm will go off, never happens from the passenger side, sometimes itll do it every time, sometimes it wont do it for weeks.

 

oh and my haz/horn fuse keeps blowing

 

ehh, mine will be done when i make 450rwhp, have the interior perfect, the paint perfect, and maybe some minor body mods, but when i get there, i probably still wont be done

 

'85 - everything works (except A/C - leak in the system - no problem until June), car looks and runs great. 95%

'84 - runs great, did pretty well on the dyno in Vegas, looks great, everything works (again, except A/C - also leaky) but need to get it smogged...90%

heh mine reacts differently than yours er well it used to..unlocking it never set of the alarm (lights flashing/horn blarring) but it did trip the starter relay..anyway that problem was solved by unlocking/locking the drivers side door a few times with the key

 

I think my car was only running 100% before I knew how to mod it... Soon as that came... Even though I made more power it was never enough... lol...

I'd say when I had 307 on the stock turbo it was 100% but since going big single never got it 100% right.. then swaped it out for 1jz.. hope that goes better

 

mine ran 100% once... it was real fun.

 

Everything in my car works 100%...even the low AC setting on the ac/heater controls

as for my goal..its never done..maybe never will be...but im always progressing.

 

When I 1st got the car, everything was 100%.

Now that its gone though hell and back, its at about 15%. Still have engine probs, needs paint, front grills and fog lights are missing, front bumper is all dented, drivers side fender is dented, antenna is broken, seats need cleaning, no AC, gauges dont work, no radio (was stolen), doors are sagging, no exhaust hangers, chrome is peeling on my rims, tires are mismatched, one of which is goin flat on a weekly basis, etc, etc, etc. Now that I look at it, maybe the car is at like 2%.

One day, I'll get it the way I want. This post jus made me depressed.

My car was 100% once, it was like that for a month before number 6 developed cancer... aight peace

 

Last summer, everything was 100%, no problems, no issues, other than things I wanted to change.

This summer I sprung a vaccum leak, not a big deal, it'll get fixed this winter.

During the time in which the car is running 100%, I drive it, it's fun.

 

I think I was for once for like 2 months till last week when I started smelling coolant from the vents (if it's the heater core it's no biggy, if it's bhg...), and my car stopped accelerating smoothly or even cruise smoothly like when my timing was way off. Plugs, wires, bhg, or timing again?

 

My car is currently at 10% because the engine is on a stand in the garage about to recive new bearings, rings ect ect. But all my switch gear works, ac works, cruise controll works, all guages work, paints a bit shabby in places and electric arial is broken.

 

i would say mine is 99% in looks and engine runs perfect
the 1% is when i hit bumps under high boost/rpm something seems to lock up the rear end... but hey the drag strip is smooth so it's all good LOL
