I'm running a Hks Fcon Vpro 3.2 which i recived used from a friend that switched to proEfi. Since the install I have been getting a check engine light code #35
(turbo pressure sensor) After running multiple diagnostic test related to the code come to find out it's due to hks vpro and speaking to the friend that had it previously said he had the same code and his tuner was able to turn it off from the vpro and was wondering if anyone knows how to ?? I've had searched everywhere inside the maps & couldn't find it out how to turn if off or disable it so the check light goes off.

Thanks,
Mike

I initially had the Factory Turbo pressure sensor(map) unplugged but, I pluged it back in and did not make any difference at all. The light comes on the momnet you turn the key and crank the enigne. It almost acts like there could be a short or open circuit somewhere but, when I did a continuity test all wires tested ok. The only other thing that i have not tried is swaping the Factory ecu with another one to see if anything changes.

DTC 35 Turbo Pressure Sensor Circuit Barometric Pressure (BARO) Sensor Circuit CIRCUIT WIRING DIAGRAM

INSPECTION PROCEDURE :
NOTE:
DTC 35 indicates trouble in the BARO sensor circuit or turbo pressure sensor circuit. Because all functions of the BARO sensor circuit are built into the ECM, it is not possible to check this circuit. However, if no problem is found in the turbo pressure sensor circuit, it can be concluded that the problem is in the BARO sensor circuit.
1. CHECK VOLTAGE BETWEEN TERMINALS VCC AND E1 OF ENGINE CONTROL MODULE CONNECTOR.
(a)Connect the Check Harness A.
(b)Turn ignition switch ON.

(c)Measure voltage between terminals VCC and E1 of engine control module. Voltage: 4.5 - 5.5 volts
- If OK proceed to step 2. - If not OK check and replace engine control module.
2. CHECK VOLTAGE BETWEEN TERMINALS PM1 AND E2 OF ENGINE CONTROL MODULE.
(a)Turn ignition switch ON.

(b)Measure voltage between terminals PM1 and E2 of engine control module.
Voltage: 2.3 - 3.0 volts
- If OK check and replace engine control module. - If not OK proceed to step 3.
3. CHECK FOR OPEN AND SHORT IN HARNESS AND CONNECTOR BETWEEN ENGINE CONTROL MODULE AND TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR. - If OK replace turbo pressure sensor. - If not OK repair or replace harness or connector.

Yes it does. If the voltage output frequency is not set to proper voltage it would cause the factory ecu to triger a code since the vpro has a patch harness that overrides the oem map (Turbopresure sensor) and sends its own voltage pending on amount of Vacu or pressure thats supplied.

Update

Finally Was able to get rid of the Damn check engine light.

checking the following pins from Hks Vpro
Hks pin 56
Hks Pin 57
Hks Pin 43
Hks Pin 44
There must be at aleast one wire connected from the above 4.
Found This Gray wire hks pin #43 (Option Analog Output 3) Connected to Factory Pin #66 (VG MAF PIN 2 Yelow & Red wire)

Hks Pin #56 (Maf Sensor OUtput 1) Connnected to Factory Ecu Pin #62 (62 PM1 TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR PIM Black & Yellow Wire)
Also Hks Pin #44 and Pin #57 Are not used at all. (No Wires attached from Patch harness or coming out of the Fcon Vpro)
Then changed the settings under Option Voltage/Frequency from Map 1 (Air FLow Axis)

To Map 1 (Pressure Axis)

Also the Set Table Option needs to be Adjusted

And Good Bye Check Engine Light.

Thanks Chris, I think my vpro harness may have been modified since the Vpro pin out stated Pin #43 should be Viloet Color but, it has a Gray wire that runs from the Vpro to where it meets the factory harness then Joins a Viloet Color wire and goes to Factory Pin #66

seems we have a few guys here that are tuning their own vpro... I know Aristo does his a long time ago...... SOOOoooooo since I see Mike posted on a question I had before. I see you guys are very familiar w/ this unit. I have it on the other supra but I want to tackle the job myself since I'm this far into it already. This way I can get control of these mofo 1000cc injectors and turn my baby back on. So the question is how did you guys acquire the software and can someone pm me what you guys did to access this unit so I can do it as well. :) looking to purchase one now used or new hhhmmmm

oohhhh don't you worry I'm not tuning a damn thing brotha... I'm curious to see how it works and learn ;-) I had Justin tune the burgundy one so yeah I'm a noob when it comes to this area. Thanks so much brotha I shall see what you sent :)
