Any other folks have feedback on this manifold?

Another OG member is buying my veilside manifold and I’m considering going back to stock.

Its a $150 alibaba manifold that is remarketed here as MCC. Nothing special about it besides price. Supposedly it works with some modification and the MCC guy backs up issues. I don't know I can't advise for or against, you get what you pay for.

If I had it all to do over again, I'd say Sleeper Designs 'RMR' style intake and stock battery location.

The Ross was OG. Is there any “cheap” knock off manifold with well designed velocity stacks?

Exactly what my intake manifold experts told me when I almost popped for an RMR 2 weeks ago. Took a closer look at the Sleeper Design and they were right.

....I'm running a OG RMR, but honestly the SD looks every bit as good and maybe better. I really love their O ring design in place of the metal gasket. Cost is relatively good.
Sleeper designs 100%

I've been back and forth with MCC on Instagram with questions, decent customer service, cheap overall cost, quality seems ok. But, a huge wait time with materials at this point, like maybe this winter for delivery they said.

I sent an email this morning but, does Sleeper Designs make one for the GE? From their site it seems it's not an option.

I spoke to mvp this am about the CPC carbon fiber option, but he said his co-worker has one that has faded significantly. It appears like there just isn’t a quality option between the cheap China stuff at $500 (TB and fuel rail included) and the $2500-$3000 range. I know suprastore has one for around $1000 but haven’t seen any feedback.

Most of these knock off greddy design should work (proven design) IF they fit, but the lack of velocity stacks for the cheap ones is an issue for me.

Maybe I’ll just go back to stock since my car just has a small single.

That happens to all anodized parts if you leave them out in the sun. I'm guessing the clear coat on the carbon fiber on his is also yellowing?

Yeah, not planning on pushing that much pressure even though the engine should handle it. I'd like to rip a four digit dyno sheet just to put it on the wall, but my dick is big enough to be satisfied with a clean highway cruiser.
For now.
I think they call it muscle memory, but I don't think that's what Madonna was talking about in the 80s.

Figured I'd check in since I picked up the MCC Loyalty branded manifold. Not sure whether to be ashamed or stoked but this thing is inch for inch identical to the Plazmaman GE version. Obviously the massively lower cost is based on the overseas manufacturer not investing in their own R&D and the design is without a doubt stolen directly from Plazmaman but, that's not the point of this post, I digress.

At a glance it seems to be quite the setup with all fittings, o-rings, fuel rail, 90mm throttle body, install hardware and does in fact have velocity stacks. The welds appear to be on the same level as anything else out there and from checking MCC's IG and website of first hand reviews, it has withstood far more than I'll ever throw at it. I'll check back in like 6 months of use and amend or backup my current opinion.

Here's a picture of the velocity stacks but refer to their site for their advertised product pictures. Feel free to check my NA-T build thread too for more pictures as I progress.

Nice, mine is on the UPS truck, ive spoken to MCC on Instagram back and forth, don't know the person behind the screen, but he has been super fast replying back with all my questions
He tests for any leaks and weld points, and the reason it gets delayed from over seas is because ( so he says) he fully inspects them, and tests them , didn't say what exactly he tests , but time will tell

Take care of it and it will be fine, anything abused will answer back with pain ;)
