Yes Gentlemen, it is time. I need a Turbo MKIII and an N/A MKIII to develope the Plug N Play for. Please PM me for the replies, so I can contact you privately for the details. Count on us having your car for 4 to 6 weeks.

Kick ass! I knew you guys would catch on eventually. ;)
FYI for the rest of you, There are already AEM units that have the same connectors as both MKIII ECUs. The biggest issue is that none of them have enough coil outputs to run the stock igniter. This should be a piece of cake for AEM and will also be a big step for the 3SGTE guys who have actually been begging alot more than the MKIII crowd.

Now I just have to decide if I should finish doing mine the hard way or wait for the PnP...

I also think we have SP to thank for this in some way

I can turn over my 88 Turbo, 5 speed for the 4 to 6 weeks needed while you develop the PnP ECU.
Are you looking for the highly modded MK3's, or mostly stock ones?
I can transport it down to your location as well.
Let me know the details, email is 3bears2@cableone.net
Thanks, Greg

LOL

This thread is pulling guys outta the woodwork...out in BumFu<# Egypt. GUYS, if you're not in SoCAL, FORGET IT. The SoCAL crew ALREADY has you covered.

FYI: A donor to AEM is to be delivered this Sunday. It is a '90T Auto. For the earlier ECUs, other arrangements will be required.

And Adam, Glen is correct on the ECU diffs.

Dammit Larry! We've only been buddies for 7 years, and you still can't remember my car is a '91!!!!!

Anyway guys, as Larry said, someone (me) is dropping off a MK3T tommorow to Jason.

I promise a full writeup in a month when they're done with the car.

Thanks so much for the support guys, I had like 10 e-mails within an hour of the post. As of now, I have commitments for both of the cars I need. I should have been a bit more specific. What I need is the cars as close to stock as possible. Mainly stock wiring, and stock injectors, the rest is no big deal. It looks like there are some modified cars in SoCal to get some good maps out quickly. If any of the other cars fall through, I will post again.

Again thanks for the quick response, if things go well (nothing wierd on Toyota's part) we should have this thing to market in about 6 to 8 weeks.

Jason.
