So I have a 90 NA automatic and I love the car(however pitifully it performs). My problem is that I want to have a turbo and of course a manual. Unfortunately money is pretty tight because of college and I am thinking about sticking with the NA, what are the pros or cons to each. Speed is nice but I would much rather have a car that can handle very well. So consider that my primary concern.

money issues and MK3s dont go together, usually the car becomes a pile of shit that doesnt run
if you dont have money, just drive the car and maintain it.
dont worry about power, worry about replacing shitty 1 piston brakes and replacing blown shocks first, swaybars are cheap and make a world of difference in handling
when the time and money comes do everything right at once, Im sick of seeing half assed attempts at modding beat to shit cars, and owners wondering why there pile is falling apart
