Front clip for a turbo A... good luck with that.

If I ever catch anyone cutting up a Turbo A to ship it to some idiot here in the states, I will hunt you down and feed you your own testicles.

But on a more serious note, I don't think people cut up Turbo A's for a reason...

Good luck finding one, they are as rare as hen's teeth! But they do pop up from time to time, your more likely to find a complete Turbo-A car for sale. There were only 500 of them ever made in the world, and by now I'm sure plenty have been wrecked or scrapped.

I think with there only being 500 made around the world there will never be a front clip for sale unless one was totaled from the rear. And then the front clip would still go for a crap load of money$$! Those things are rare. I would just get a USDM or JDM 7M-GTE and build it up.

the Turbo A's engine management ALONE is worth a lot. There are many many upgrades parts on them.

Brakes
Intercooler piping (dunno on IC)
Turbo
Engine Management (MAP based)
Suspension

I'd KILL for one....

But it's all old worn out non adjustable junk that you pay a premium for?

Some of the Group A gear is worth picking up when it pops up but the Turbo A stuff is really only worth something if you have a genuine Turbo A you're trying to keep original so it's worth something someday....

A Turbo A clip would probably have a pretty significant premium. For what? To pay more for a 7M with a couple insignificant bells and whistles? Money is definately better spent on aftermarket parts on whatever 7M you already have that are cheaper AND better than Turbo A stuff.

Wow. the people on here are hilarious. I also see how most of the people get so many posts. Bullshit replies. Thanks to the few who said something worth reading. (onejoezee, poodles, supraracer49, gilsdorf)=J=

I think it would be really fun to recreate a TurboA car just because of the history behind them. You can sure go faster for cheaper, but I think the whole package is desirable since that's the way Toyota intended it. That's just me, though.

Zach: It's a LOT of money to spend to make a replica that in the end isn't worth anything as it doesn't have the correct Vin!

As Loki say's getting a genuine Turbo A and keeping it stock means you own something rare but the second you change anything on the car it's just an hacked up car. (there are quite a few here in Australia)

before we go into a whole different conversation nothing on my car is cheap and im sure the "JDM TYTE SHEEP STUFF" your talking about isnt on my car considering i am already sitting on close 2 400whp on a built 7mgte. Im pretty good friends with the guys at soundperformance and know what im trying to do. Just because you dont want it for your car or a side project dont assume your personal decision is correct. Thanks and Be easy. =J=
