I had this problem with my old e36 where the windows inside the car would fog up easily, and then on cold days the rear window would gather frost inside the car! I figured it was just something to do with the car being old.

Now my 04 accord has the same problem! The windows in the car fog up easily from the inside, and these days every morning when I wake up the inside of my rear window is frosted as well as the outside!!! I've never seen this in other cars, can anyone explain??

usually if the car has frost on the inside of the windows it is due to a water leak in the car and the condensation appears on the windows... and hence in the winter you will have frost, i always have this problem from cars i pick up at the detail shop. they use so much water cleaning carpets and seats, and it frost's up on the windows.

strange thing is you say you have this problem on your 04 accord, was it hit.

hmm... try parking the car 180 degrees the other way... and see if the front window is frosted... maybe due to the way the sun comes out it dries your front window and doesnt have a chance to swing around to your rear window, sounds crazy, but then this still wont account to excess water being in your car to fog up on the windows.

I'll try doing what you said. The car has never been hit.

My beater is an 88 Accord. We had torrential rains recently (who didnt, huh) and it leaked (first rain for me). The carpet got all wet and the windows fogged up for about a month while I dried it out (pain in the ass). I want to say you have a water leak. =(

Look for wet carpet, wet anything and/or rust. Find it now, before it gets worse.

I am going to take the car in on wednesday to get it checked out because I don't see anything that has been described so far. There's no reason my new car should have this problem.. This sucks!
