850 csi, one sweet car!

 

carpoint.com says its an 850I 5.4 L 24 valve SOHC V12....but not superchaged. 322 hp. sexy car but why put FEWER valves in a bad ass v12 than in the 282 hp 4.4L V8??? 2 per cyl V12 or 4 per cyl V8 doesnt make sense. the 840i is the v8.

since it was a easrly 90's gt car, it came after the mk3. but in real life, it looks nothing like a mk3. also, it costs around 120,000 dolalrs new (850 csi (csi= coupe sport injected)) the csi was the only one with a 6 speed, and it still feches upwards of 40 to 80 thousand dollars.

 

it loks pretty sweet. Id take one. And that v12 must purr like a kitten!

 

yea, it's pretty quiet, but even the 850i isnt very fast, (ive driven them) get into a 850csi though.... whew.

 

I've seen a couple around here in Newport beach. I've seen some selling for 20-30k with a high mileage motors.

heh, my girlfriends dad has a 850csi. black. Its is such an awesome car, love driving it. Looks somewhat like a mk3 from the front, thats pretty much where it ends. Car is pretty dang fast.
