Without having any idea where on your rack is leaking, thats a bit of a, how long is a piece of string, question really.

It could be leaking from the high pressure lines, or from a leaky seal inside the rack that is leaking past the inner rack end and seeping out of the end of the bellow boot.

Where is yours leaking from exactly? If there is oil everywhere, then put on a N95 mask and some eye protection, and get undee the car and spray degreaser around and wipe all the old oil off, then start it up and hope back underneath to see exactly where your leak is dripping from, and report back :)

I'm going to sound like a painfully dry OSHA awareness video from the 1970's, but the importance of proper PPE can't be understated lol.

Absolutely!! Especially when we are talking about aerosol mists from pressurized cans...you DO NOT want solvents and other nasties getting down into the bottom of your lungs.

So many people who work on their own cars have an attitude of "I dont do this every day so surely I will be ok if I just quickly spray this and turn my face away from the bulk of the spray"...NO!!
