I've noticed that some of these sites show discontinued parts as available but when you order them they will cancel the order because they are not in fact available. Happened to me at least 10 times with amayama and a few times with jp-parts.

 

same to me. For amayama, I've been doing a availability check first then pay for the stuff that is available.

 

Same to me then some days for the refund. Make sure to get its availability 'in typing' over email if they say it's for real

 

They have excellent diagrams for parts ID, I'd argue better than Amayama. I ordered some bolts and other parts that were not available in the US from them and had a good experience, the 25% off sales help with offsetting the shipping cost combined with a weak Yen. Not the worst deal on VVT-i heads and the big stuff during sales, but yes some of the stuff that should be discontinued is still up and I can understand how people would be frustrated.
